At an early age, I found a strong attraction to art. The beauty of hand drawn and painted picture amazed me. All I ever wanted to do from that moment on was to be a part of creating pieces that could connect with others on an emotional level.
As a child, the great renaissance painters Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli inspired me, I was captivated by how beautifully they used color. Later on, I found myself digging deeper in to other artists work like Van Gogh, Monet, Rembrandt, Picasso, and Salvator Dali. Each one of these renowned artists played a part in opening my eyes in to looking deeper at the world. And then there's Bob Ross, who broth the Joy of Painting into my life! His painting lessons showed me the more peaceful side of painting and would have to say he was my first painting teacher.
I enjoy creating pieces that connect with others, whether it be a simple pieces that connect with others, whether it be a simple piece that brings a small biota joy to someone or a dramatic piece that opens a person's mind to new concepts of life, love, pain, healing, pleasure, and spirituality. Sometimes I create a piece just because I find it to be fun and pleasing to the eyes.
